Services for Students
High school and post-secondary students looking for a job can visit any St. Clair College Employment Centre location for job search assistance. Our self-service Resource and Information Centres offer employment resources, job postings, computers, Internet access, printers for resumes, and fax and phone access for job search purposes.
There are several summer jobs programs to assist students with gaining valuable summer work experience. Programs are typically launched in early spring, so be sure to visit us early to take advantage of the summer programs.
Employment Ontario Programs
Some students may be eligible to work with an Employment Consultant through Employment Ontario programs. Staff will assess your eligibility and suitability during your first visit.
St. Clair College Career Services
St. Clair College Career Services provides assistance to St. Clair College Students seeking permanent, part-time, temporary and seasonal employment. Resources and information are available on employment-related topics including resumes and cover letters, job applications, interview skills, and job search techniques. Workshops and resume clinics are scheduled throughout the academic year to provide students with the techniques needed to successfully market job skills in today’s competitive labour market.
Employment opportunities for St. Clair College Students are advertised on job boards at all St. Clair College Career Services locations and online. We can also help you navigate online job banks advertising local work and volunteer opportunities.

Career Days & Employer Visits
Career Services arranges on-campus activities throughout the year to promote employment opportunities and information about careers with local and regional employers. Through employer displays, learning sessions and classroom presentations, we are commited to assisting students to connect with potential employers and career paths.
St. Clair College hosts an annual Job Fair each January in partnership with University of Windsor, attended by dozens of employers. The most recent Job Fair was held January 18, 2017 - visit the Job Fair page for information about employers who participated.

Even after graduation, we are here to help Alumni reach employment goals. St. Clair College Employment Centre offers Employment Ontario programs and services to assist the public, including St. Clair College Alumni. If you are in your graduating year or an alumnus of the College, ask us about how Employment Ontario programs can connect you to businesses looking to hire, and help with finding training, skills and experience. All services are provided at no cost to you.
